Purpose statement:
The Fulfillment & Logistics Associate is responsible for intercompany/intersite shipping and transportation, completes a variety of shipping documents, picks, stages, and delivers inventory, and schedules freight shipments.
Essential Functions:
Completes a variety of inventory transactions in the ERP system
Operates hand and electric-powered carts, pallet jacks, forklifts, and other equipment
Processes and schedules outbound LTL, Hazmat, Air Cargo, and multi-modal shipments
Picks and performs the inventory transfer of stock between IDT companies and site locations
Prepares and stages empty tanks and accompanying paperwork to be returned to vendor
Schedules/coordinates freight shipments and provides proper bill of lading paperwork for shipments
Files export controlled shipments with AES and reviews paperwork prepared by other staff
Prepares hazardous materials declarations in compliance with site, local and federal policies and procedures
Maintains all records in accordance with IDT record retention policies and procedures
Makes deliveries to local IDT facilities and maintains delivery vehicles
Processes return orders for rejected materials going back to the vendor

Performs other duties as assigned
Education, Licensure, Certification, Registration
High school diploma or equivalent required
Valid Iowa driver’s license required
Certification and training with DOT Hazardous Material, IATA, IMDG, and NMFC required within 6 months of hire (provided by IDT) required
Professional Experience:
Previous logistics experience preferred
Previous ERP experience preferred

Physical Requirements:
Exert 50-100 lbs. of force occasionally and/or 25-50 lbs. of force frequently
