Full time Nurse RN/LPN

Location: Marengo, IA

Schedule: Full time

Normal business hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:00pm

Starting wage: based on experience; mileage reimbursed $0.70/mile

 

Responsibilities

• Uses clinical knowledge and nursing skills to provide direct patient care in a home setting
• Delivers quality care and completes accurate clinical documentation in accordance with home health conditions of participation (CoPs)
• Educates patients and families on healthcare needs, treatments, and care strategies established in the plan of care
• Documents patient progress, including observations, changes in condition, and medication administration, in compliance with agency protocols
• Collaborates and communicates effectively with the healthcare team

 

Qualifications

• Current Iowa RN or LPN license, CPR, Mandatory Reporter 
• Preferred candidates have at least 1 year of nursing experience
• Good organizational skills to manage time without supervision
• Detail oriented and able to multitask efficiently
• Ability to make independent decisions
• Contribute to a productive work environment with all team members
• Electronic charting experience and basic computer skills required
• Must have reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
