CNA – Hem / Onc- Temporary Position

Join the best team in healthcare!  Physicians’ Clinic of Iowa, one of the leading multi-specialty physician clinics in the area, is seeking a temporary full time CNA to work in the Hematology/Oncology department.  

Primary duties for this position include but are not limited to:

• Patient care including rooming patients and prepping for exams
• Updating information in the EMR
• Provide assistance to providers/nursing staff
• Stocking and maintenance of rooms
• Scheduling & tracking of radiology exams and follow up appointments
• Coordination of ancillary and treatment appointments
• Insurance benefit prior authorizations
• Scribing duties as needed.

 

Requirements:

• The successful candidate must maintain patient confidentiality and demonstrate a high level of professionalism at all times. 
• The qualified individual will be patient focused and must work well with team members.
• Must also have a high level of comfort in working with computer systems.
• Must be a Certified Nurse Aide/Assistant.
• Experience in a medical office performing similar functions is preferable, but not required.
