The City of Anamosa is seeking a Temporary Full-Time Public Utilities Operator to perform various tasks related to the construction, maintenance, operations, and repair of the City’s water and wastewater facilities. 

Duties:

• Under the direction of the Public Utilities Superintendent, the duties of the Temporary Full-Time Public Utilities Operator will include, but are not limited to; indoor and outdoor piping, distribution, pumping, and treatment of water/wastewater. 
• Additionally, this position will be required to interact positively with citizens and employees, while performing routine and skilled services, including the installation and adjustment of water taps, meters, and related public services. 

This is a temporary full-time position, with a starting wage of $20.00/hour ($41,600/year), DOQ/DOE.
