RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop & Execute Marketing Strategies

  • Develop and lead the company's marketing campaigns across traditional print literature and digital platforms. 
  • Assist in segmenting markets by defining the target market and develop a unique value proposition for each market. 
  • Support innovation and new business development to commercialize and launch new products. 
  • Plan and create marketing materials in support of the company's growth initiatives by collaborating with outside service companies. 
  • Drive the creation of original content that effectively communicates with and engages target audiences, including providing writing and editing support for outbound communications. 
  • Execute content marketing, SEO, and inbound lead generation strategies across social media, paid ads, blogs, case studies, newsletters, videos, email, etc. 
  • Establish and maintain a consistent corporate image/brand voice across departments and product lines, promotional materials, and events. 

Market Research

  • Investigate emerging marketing trends and new digital technologies/solutions to determine their fit with the company's strategy. 
  • Solicit and analyze client feedback to determine needs, preferences, and pain points. 
  • Use published reports, market analysis trends, and white papers to gather industry trends. 
  • Present research insights to key stakeholders, such as sales teams, product development, and senior leadership to guide decision making. 

Marketing Technology

  • Oversee website maintenance, content, and security, including improving SEO rankings and ensuring website content is fresh, engaging, and modern. 
  • Leverage HubSpot and other marketing automation platforms for lead management and to create an integrated customer journey. 
  • Ensure lead system and lead flows provide optimal results in terms of speed and quality and create new lead generation opportunities. 
  • Prepare and communicate to senior leadership a marketing dashboard measuring KPIs and progress in key areas. 

Project Management

  • Develop and maintain the marketing budget. 
  • Maintain relations with third-party vendor partners and agencies to ensure alignment on objectives and timely completion of project activities. 

Collaboration and Communication

  • Foster strong internal relationships and collaboration with sales, operations, consultants, and support teams to ensure seamless client experiences. 
  • Effectively communicate client needs, goals, and feedback internally to ensure alignment and prioritization of resources. 
  • Track and report on campaign performance, providing insights and recommendations. 
  • Have the confidence to bring in additional company support when needed. 
  • Review invoices and collaborate with the Finance Team on any billing issues. 

Company Systems and Administration

  • Research and document significant client and prospect information in the company’s CRM system. 
  • Maintain proficiency in using MS Office. 
  • Follow company policies and procedures. 

KEY RELATIONSHIPS 

The Marketing Manager, reporting directly to the Senior Director of Sales & Marketing, and is directly responsible for meeting the company's marketing goals. They will work closely and collaboratively with a number of colleagues, including the Sales Team, Project Coordinators, Consultants, Scheduling, Finance, Human Resources, and Safety.  

QUALIFICATIONS 

Required 

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in Business, Marketing, Public Relations, Communications, or an industry-related field. 
  • At least 5 years in a marketing management role. 
  • Ability to develop and execute long-term marketing strategies. 
  • Proven track record of running successful marketing campaigns. 
  • Demonstrated ability to simultaneously plan, execute, and oversee multiple projects. 
  • Experience managing B2B marketing efforts. 
  • Ability to interpret campaign metrics, KPIs, and ROI to inform decision making. 
  • Proficiency in data visualization. 
  • Strong client-centric mindset and the ability to understand and anticipate client needs. 
  • Able to make connections by building trust and relationships with wide range of stakeholders. 
  • Understanding of content strategy, writing, and creative direction. 
  • Demonstrated ability to approach problems in unconventional ways, finding unique and effective solutions to address issues and challenges. 
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal to convey complex ideas clearly and build rapport with key stakeholders.
  • Basic knowledge of tools like Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.) or Canva. 
  • Market research and competitive analysis expertise. 
  • Strong verbal and written communication for presentations, pitches, and copywriting. 
  • Understanding of financial concepts, including profit and loss statements, budgeting, and pricing strategies, to maximize revenue and profitability and to identify trends and opportunities. 
  • Alignment with the company's culture, values, and mission, as well as the ability to represent the company effectively to key clients. 
  • A commitment to ongoing professional development and staying updated on industry trends and best practices. 
  • Experience utilizing CRM to accurately capture data and activities. 
  • Knowledge of automation tools. 
  • PC proficiency (Microsoft Office Suite). 
  • Able to travel for work (amount of travel time varies according to business needs). 

Preferred  

  • Experience in the construction, commercial roof, or commercial pavement industries. 
  • Experience marketing in the professional services industry. 
  • Experience working with an ERP system. 
  • Experience with EOS (Entrepreneurial Operating System).
