We are seeking a Corporate Engagement Manager to contribute to the achievement of UWECI’s mission and vision by maximizing revenue through leading the development, implementation, and management of targeted strategies to grow the annual, multi-million-dollar workplace campaign and year-round initiatives to increase overall contributions. This position is responsible for ensuring the success of the workplace giving campaign and year-round giving, developing and executing programs designed to augment UWECI’s fundraising, corporate relationship management strategies, and analyzing data. This position includes, but is not limited to, workplace giving campaign, new business solicitations, developing year-round giving programs, corporate donor recognition, corporate sponsorships, and other strategies designed to build giving relationships with new and existing corporate donors.

  • Strong data analytics skills with proficiency utilizing Microsoft Excel to develop and guide campaign strategy.

  • Comfort and proficiency with presentation skills both publicly and one-on-one.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment to accomplish team goals.
  • CRM experience

 

EDUCATION

Level of Education: Bachelor’s Degree
Work Experience: 3-5 years
Education Requirement: 7+ years of related experience will be accepted in place of required degree
Preferred field(s) of study: Non-Profit, Fundraising, Marketing, Business, Public Relations, Communications, or related field.  

 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Workplace Giving Leadership:

  • Assist the VP-Donor Engagement and Development in recruiting, hiring, and training a team of Loaned Executives (average 4-6) during active workplace campaign season (typically August-November) to achieve assigned campaign growth, donor retention, participation, and revenue goals.
  • Lead and manage, in collaboration with UWECI Leadership team, annual account plans and action steps needed to engage key accounts on a year-round basis to secure additional support for UWECI. 
  • Work collaboratively within the organization to build and integrate strategies and growth capacity. 
  • Contribute to complementary activities (Day of Caring, volunteer engagement, etc.).
  • Recruit, organize, and lead Campaign Cabinet.
  • Provide support and direction to Campaign Chairs and Campaign Cabinet volunteers to build capacity and drive revenue, impact, outcomes, and influence.

Workplace Giving, Corporate Giving, and Corporate Sponsorships/Annual Campaign:

  • Design, coordinate, and implement comprehensive workplace giving, corporate giving, and corporate sponsorship strategies resulting in growth, retention, and engagement.
  • Manage individual corporate campaign accounts.
  • Determine key metrics, accountability, and reporting that align with workplace giving, corporate giving, and corporate sponsorship performance and growth objectives.
  • Develop corporate market segment strategies.
  • Collaborate with Marketing & Communications, Community Impact, and Finance & Administrative teams on the development of campaign materials.
  • Track and evaluate effectiveness of strategies, campaigns, and overall results.
  • Monitor performance of campaigns, providing progress reports, and projections as needed.
  • Lead portfolio and company campaign performance evaluation to identify strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities to improve engagement strategies and performance.
  • Develop individual relationships with corporate and community leaders.
  • Research, identify, analyze, and communicate key donor trends, results, and opportunities within workplace giving, corporate giving, and corporate sponsorships to ensure continued growth in donors and revenue.
  • Identify prospective individual donors inside workplace giving and make referrals to appropriate individual donor resource development staff member for individual donor cultivation.
  • Attend Leadership Giving Society and affinity group meetings as needed.

Affinity Group(s):
This position may be assigned an affinity group associated with UWECI. Tasks might include:

  • Lead monthly steering committee meetings including creation of the agenda and meeting notes.
  • Lead affinity group event planning.
  • Lead/Co-Lead monthly/bimonthly affinity group event subcommittee(s).
  • One-on-one stewardship of individual committee members and affinity group supporters.
  • Recruitment of new steering committee members.
  • Monitor affinity group campaign designations.
  • Leading affinity group fundraising effort.
  • Spread general awareness of UWECI and affinity group in the community.
