GENERAL JOB SUMMARY:
Under limited supervision, performs administrative assistance such as composing routine correspondence, working with advanced office software, maintaining records, and coordinating the hiring and payroll for all Learning Assistants. Exercises a degree of independent judgment, works cooperatively with other college personnel and the public, and demonstrates strong organizational skills and knowledge of various computer software applications.

- Create the schedule for Program Assistants and other part time Learning Commons staff
- Coordinate the recruiting, hiring, and payroll processes for all Learning Assistants
- Create the Learning Assistant schedule for the Learning Commons, A&P Success Center, Math and Science Success Center, and other satellite locations.
- Maintain budgetary records and prepare accounting reports.
- Assist students, faculty, and staff at public service desks
- Assist with training and evaluation of the Learning Assistants as well as other Learning Commons Associates
- Gather, analyze, and report usage data from various sources.
- Assist with processing of print and electronic materials
- Manage and oversee the assignments of Learning Assistants to students
- Perform other work duties as assigned.

PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES WITH/WITHOUT REASONABLE ACCOMMODATION:Sedentary to light work. Constant viewing of various types of close visual and computer-related work. Position involves sitting most of the time; exerting up to 40 pounds of force occasionally. Frequent grasping, occasional stooping, crouching, pushing, pulling, reaching, lifting, standing and walking. May travel to other on-campus facilities, off-campus facilities and businesses to attend meetings, etc.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:- Bachelor degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- One-year experience using technology for multiple uses
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS, LICENSES, CERTIFICATIONS, OR REGISTRATIONS:
- Experience working in an academic support setting
- Experience working with Learning Assistants
- Demonstrated commitment to the mission of a comprehensive community college
- Demonstrated success in working collaboratively
- Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
- Outstanding written and oral communication skills
