Assistant Store Manager

Pella Window Store in Cedar Rapids is seeking a qualified candidate for Assistant Store Manager.  The Assistant Store Manager is responsible for supporting the Store Manager in the daily business operations of our retail location. 

General tasks include:

• Supervising employees
• Communicating with and helping customers 
• Carrying out directives given by the manager and leadership

This position will perform management and organizational tasks that support the efficiency of our operation and promote a great experience for store patrons, as well as general office duties with inside sales.  Must have excellent organizational, mutli-tasking and people skills.  Part-time to start, full-time for the right candidate.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Purchase inventory based on current trends, availability of new products and customer interest
• Display merchandise to maximize purchasing appeal
• Organize sales and product demonstrations
• Write sales and customer reports and make recommendations for improvements
• Interact with customers and resolve complaints or grievances
