ACCRA Cost of Living Index Calculator

The Cedar Rapids and Iowa City Corridor Area continues to be an economical place to live and work. This area’s cost of living is lower than the national average and lower than most other metro areas in the Midwest.

To calculate the cost of living in either Cedar Rapids or Iowa City, Priority One and the Iowa City Area Chamber of Commerce participate in ACCRA’s Cost of Living Index report. Priority One and the Iowa City Area Chamber of Commerce are members of ACCRA, a non-profit organization and producer of the nationally renowned Cost of Living Index. ACCRA produces the Cost of Living Index to provide a useful and reasonably accurate measure of living cost differences among urban areas.
