The Cedar Rapids Area continues to be an economical place to live and work. This community’s cost of living is lower than the national average and lower than most other metro areas in the Midwest.

To calculate the cost of living in Cedar Rapids, Priority One participates in ACCRA’s Cost of Living Index report. Priority One is a member of ACCRA, a non-profit organization and producer of the nationally renowned Cost of Living Index. ACCRA produces the Cost of Living Index to provide a useful and reasonably accurate measure of living cost differences among urban areas.
